Afghan Voices of Hope

Afghan Voices of Hope, a project of Memria directed by Gaisu Yari, collects and shares hundreds of important personal narratives of displaced Afghans who escaped Afghanistan after the Taliban descended on Kabul on August 15, 2021. These stories—both tender and powerful—document the plight and personal experiences of the emerging diaspora.

I was responsible for designing the new visual identity and website for Afghan Voices of Hope, which launched on August 15, 2022, the one year anniversary of the fall of Kabul.
